Who is Adam?
I am a dog dad, painter, hoops fanatic, and a Leo.
I am Texas born and raised but these days you can find me in New York.
I've always loved drawing, design, and creating. More recently, I have been exploring design and how it can be used to communicate in an effective way. My hope is to take what I've learned alongside my professional and collegiate experience into a role where I can hone in and develop my skills even further.
I am looking for impactful and purposeful work where I can flex my creativity.
What's his background?
I'm kind of a jack of all trades.
I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering and minor in Design Strategies. Here I took classes focusing on process engineering & energy transfer while also learning about user centered design and the design thinking process. Both sets of courses applied an iterative framework as an approach to solving problems.
While in school, I had the chance to intern in a few different roles such as Computational Materials Research or Automation Engineering. My biggest takeaway from my classes and internships was how to apply various thinking frameworks across ambiguous problems - regardless of if the problem is technical or creative.
Post graduation, I joined JPMorgan where I’ve been working as Product Manager on a number of different teams over the past 3 years. Here I’ve learned how to deliver products, build out roadmaps, optimize complex processes - all while balancing user needs with business goals.
Outside of work, I like to paint, draw, 3D sculpt, and occasionally do woodworking as well.
What are his skills?
I'm always learning new technical and soft skills
Technical Skills - Figma, Prototyping, Framer, Wireframing, Procreate, 3D Modeling, Adobe Suite, HTML, Jira, Tableau, SQL, Lucid, Excel, Survey Monkey, Microsoft Suite, and more
Soft Skills - Process Thinking, Design Thinking, Storytelling, Agile Methodologies, User Research, Go To Market Strategy, Communication, Collaboration, Empathy, and more
So what?
I could be your next hire!
I'm someone with a wide skillset and I am confident in my ability to learn anything. I'm not afraid to step into the unknown or try something new.
